Uphold is a financial technology company that believes on-chain services are the future of finance. They are looking for a curious, customer-obsessed Junior Product Manager to own the strategy, execution, and roadmap for integrating crypto into daily financial life. The role involves understanding customer pain points and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the product roadmap from core bank-like features: new types of accounts, credit and debit cards, and account management
- Deeply understand customer pain points through data, support tickets, user interviews, and direct feedback and translate those insights into product decisions
- Partner with design, engineering, compliance, and customer success to ship features that meaningfully improve the customer experience
- Use AI tools extensively to accelerate research, prioritization, documentation, and analysis fluency in AI-assisted workflows is expected
- Utilize LLMs to generate prototype applications and experiences in order to accurately communicate your vision
- Write clear, concise product requirements and user stories that keep the customer at the center
- Monitor product performance metrics and synthesize findings into actionable next steps
- Stay close to the competitive neo banking landscape and bring fresh thinking to the team
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in product management, customer success, operations, customer service, or a related role
- A genuine obsession with customer experience — you think in journeys, not system flows
- The ability to tell a good story. In the resume you submit, add a section that describes a poor customer experience you have had and what could've changed it
- Exposure to fintech, banking, or payments either professionally or as a highly engaged user
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias toward action
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with product tools such as Jira, Notion, and Figma
- Interest or hands-on experience in crypto, Web3, or digital assets
- Experience at a neo bank, challenger bank, or consumer fintech product (even if not in a product management role)
- Demonstrated use of Generative AI tools in a professional or personal context
- A track record of advocating for the customer in a product or operations environment
