Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative/Support Specialist to provide comprehensive customer service and help desk support to our client teams. This role is primarily focused on supporting various client projects, ensuring seamless coordination, and delivering exceptional service to end users. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a genuine desire to assist others.
This is a full-time, temporary position with the possibility of permanent placement based on performance and business needs. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 to $21.00, depending on experience and qualifications. The position is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while remaining within reasonable proximity to the Portsmouth, New Hampshire area.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative & Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Inbound and Outbound Call Handling: Professionally respond to incoming customer inquiries and initiate outbound calls to address concerns, follow up on previous contacts, and provide comprehensive information about services and programs.
- Inquiry Resolution: Address all customer questions, complaints, and concerns in a friendly, timely, and professional manner, ensuring each interaction leaves the customer satisfied and well-informed.
- Ticket Transaction Management: Perform support ticket resolution tasks with accuracy and efficiency, documenting all interactions thoroughly in our customer relationship management systems.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all calls, questions, complaints, and mailed inquiries to ensure complete audit trails and internal control compliance.
- Administrative Support: Handle incoming and outgoing mail, email correspondence, and various administrative functions as assigned, maintaining organization and efficiency in all tasks.
- Program Knowledge Development: Develop and maintain an excellent working knowledge of the program rules and policies for assigned projects to ensure accurate and reliable responses to customer inquiries.
- Platform Proficiency: Master the use of operating platforms and technology tools required to fulfill job responsibilities effectively, including customer service software, ticketing systems, and internal databases.
- Disability Awareness: Demonstrate a strong understanding of accessibility considerations and the ability to work effectively and empathetically with persons with disabilities, ensuring all customers receive equitable service.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

Preferred Experience
While we welcome applications from candidates at all experience levels, the following experience is preferred:
- Six (6) months of call center experience, OR
- One (1) year of customer service experience in a professional setting
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are highly desirable and considered a significant asset
- Previous experience in help desk or technical support environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus
