As our library of original productions and licensed content continues to grow exponentially, we must scale and formalize the management of studio data to meet the evolving demands of the entertainment industry. This is an exciting moment to join a skilled, dynamic team that is helping shape operational data standards and practices for a growing studio.

At arenaflex, we believe that great content comes from great partnerships, and behind every successful deal is accurate, well-managed data. Our Studio Data Management team plays a critical role in ensuring that the information flowing through our content acquisition and partnership processes is precise, complete, and interconnected. Join us as we continue to revolutionize how entertainment is created, distributed, and experienced globally.

The Role: Data Lead, Studio Data Management

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Lead to join the Studio Data Management team within Content and Business Products (CBP), the division that creates applications driving innovation in content production. Our team manages data quality for several large operational datasets that are used extensively across these applications. We work closely with product teams to ensure that data is delivering value to their products while also working to improve fundamental data quality through better processes, analysis, rules, and user education.

In this pivotal role, you will focus on data related to the agreements arenaflex makes with talent and organizations for the content we put on our service. Deal data is used throughout studio operations, from pitch to playback, and it is essential that this information is accurate, complete, and well-connected. You will help define, analyze, and report on data quality standards to meet business requirements, devise and socialize best practices, and create and implement processes to effectively monitor and fix data quality issues. You will work with product teams on initiatives related to product development while also driving improvements to fundamental data health.

A successful candidate will love diving into large datasets to find patterns and diagnose issues, have the agility to switch between heads-down project execution and customer-centered problem-solving, and be energized by the opportunity to be part of a growing team.

  • Scalable Strategy Development: Independently define and implement strategies to efficiently scale data quality work across the organization.

  • Project Leadership: Lead data quality projects to support product development and to improve fundamental data quality, creating detailed plans that identify business impact, timelines, and risks, and executing on work effectively.

  • Stakeholder Management: Manage partner requests and drive partner alignment when required, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on priorities.

  • Customer Support: Serve as a resource for responding to users' data-related support requests with empathy and accuracy.

  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with business teams to create and implement more efficient processes, best data practices, and educational documentation that empowers users.
