The Inbound Sales Specialist role involves responding to customer inquiries, handling referrals, and providing information on banking products while ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls, e-mails, chat, and voicemail
  • Responsible for handling all referrals from Customer Care Center Associates who have identified a potential sales need
  • Authenticate customer identity to ensure the customer and bank are protected from fraud attempts and take additional steps to mitigate risk if needed
  • Respond to rate and general information inquiries on deposit products, credit card, and consumer loans and clearly explain features and benefits of each solution
  • Enter consumer loan applications into loan origination systems following strict procedural guidelines to ensure compliance
  • Explain bank policies, procedures, and/or regulations to customers as they relate to the specific retail solution
  • Complete data entry to note customer interactions results
  • Remain current with product knowledge and administrative requirements through trainings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to successfully establish rapport with the customer, actively listen, respond promptly with correct information, and recommend appropriate solutions or additional services in response to customer needs

  • Ability to work in a high paced environment and maintain stable performance

  • Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 1+ year related customer service experience required
  • 1+ year banking experience required
