ASSOCIATE ACCOUNTING ANALYST

California Child Support Services is dedicated to promoting parental responsibility and enhancing the well-being of children through effective child support services. The Associate Accounting Analyst will perform professional accounting duties, serve as a subject matter expert on travel-related matters, and support various accounting functions within the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform the most difficult professional accounting duties by utilizing technical expertise and analytical skills
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and primary point of contact on all matters related to travel
• Process direct transfers
• Review and approve AP vouchers
• Serve as an Attendance Coordinator for the branch
• Support the General Ledger desk

Skills

• Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date in order to be considered
• Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov
• All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position
