Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven HR professional to support the end-to-end employee lifecycle within an Australian tech environment. This role blends strategic policy development with hands-on recruitment administration, ensuring full compliance with Australian employment law while fostering a high-performance culture and maintaining a true “Great Place to Work” environment.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Draft clear and compelling job descriptions.

  • Post roles on job boards such as Seek and LinkedIn.

  • Screen resumes against technical and role-specific criteria.

Vetting & Screening

  • Conduct 15-minute culture-fit and preliminary skill-check calls.

  • Endorse qualified candidates to hiring managers with structured feedback.

Australian Compliance

  • Draft and update employment contracts in accordance with the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards (NES).

  • Develop and maintain internal policies, including Code of Conduct and Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies.

  • Ensure alignment with Modern Awards and broader Australian employment regulations.

Onboarding & Administration

  • Manage digital onboarding documentation for new hires.

  • Process TFN declarations and Superannuation Choice forms.

  • Coordinate induction schedules and ensure smooth onboarding transitions.


Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years in HR Administration or HR Coordination.

Australian Employment Law Expertise

  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Australian employment law, including Fair Work, Modern Awards, and NES.

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS tools.

  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
