Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Statistics Architect to lead the transformation and innovation of our end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VoC) methodology. This critical position will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data architecture that supports our customer experience analytics platform. You will work closely with product owners, subject matter experts, and agile technology teams to deliver innovative solutions that ensure data quality, accuracy, and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with big data technologies and a proven track record of developing scalable data solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across our global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture Development: Design and build robust data model architectures to support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across all customer experience analytics platforms.
  • Platform Management: Assist in the development and maintenance of the new Voice of the Customer technique sourced from Cornerstone, integrated with the Survey and Dashboard platform hosted through Qualtrics.
  • Big Data Solutions: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing.
  • Business Requirements: Work closely with application teams to define, structure, and capture business requirements, translating functional needs into technical deliverables.
  • Data Platform Expertise: Grow knowledge of Voice of the Customer methods and leverage this expertise to transform data within the Cornerstone big data platform.
  • Performance Optimization: Provide guidance to enhance competencies and drive efficiency in computing programs using the massive data ecosystem.
  • Analysis & Development: Power consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, testing and build automation tools.
  • Process Automation: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners from various business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for different use cases as part of the VoC end-to-end technique.
  • Agile Delivery: Participate in Agile methodologies of delivery where small increments of products are introduced at regular intervals to business groups.

Essential Qualifications


  • Technical Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, Shell Scripting languages, along with deployment management and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven projects.

  • Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.

  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, with experience in delivering small increments of products at regular intervals to business stakeholders.

  • Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience building scalable data architectures.

  • Programming Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with big data processing frameworks.

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with Qualtrics survey platform integration and management.

  • Knowledge of Cornerstone big data platform architecture.

  • Experience in the financial services or fintech industry.

  • Familiarity with multilingual and multi-country survey deployments.

  • Understanding of customer experience measurement methodologies.

  • Experience with real-time data streaming and processing technologies.
