About the HR Shared Services Team
Our HR Shared Services function is the backbone of arenaflex's people operations. This team collaborates closely with local and regional talent groups to identify solutions and resolve employee concerns in a timely, professional manner.
As a Shared Services Specialist, you'll be working primarily with Workday transactions, data input, and accuracy – ensuring our HR information systems remain pristine and reliable. - Employee Data Excellence: You'll ensure the accuracy of employee data through the meticulous management of employee systems and processes. Your attention to detail will help maintain data integrity that thousands of HR decisions depend upon daily.
- Application Support: You'll support applications that reach all personnel, ensuring they run smoothly so employees can focus on doing the best work of their lives. Your troubleshooting abilities will keep our HR technology ecosystem flowing seamlessly.
- Innovation & Automation: You'll have the possibility to research new tools and techniques that can then be implemented to simplify, optimize, and automate work across our Talent organization. We're always looking for ways to work smarter, and your innovative ideas will be welcomed and valued.
- Knowledge Base Management: Help create, write, and manage our HR knowledge base for our personnel. You'll develop comprehensive resources that empower employees to find answers independently while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Process Implementation: Assist with analyzing, intaking, and operationalizing new employee services – from pre-hire to offboarding. You'll be involved in the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent, exceptional experiences at every touchpoint.
- Quality Assurance: Perform system and testing audits as requested for data accuracy, integrity, and functionality. You'll analyze and report results and discrepancies, playing a critical role in maintaining our data quality standards.
What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise with the Workday HCM tool – you should be comfortable navigating, configuring, and troubleshooting within this platform
- Demonstrated expertise in Mass Uploads (EIB) – experience handling bulk data operations efficiently and accurately
- Strong project management, communication, and customer service skills – you must be able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a customer-first mindset
- Strong analytical skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Strong interest in technology and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to problem-solve using rigorous logic and strategies to resolve complex issues
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in HR, Business, IT, or a related field is preferred but not required – we value experience and aptitude just as much as formal education
- Experience as a Workday Data Analyst, in the HR domain, or as an HR Generalist (highly preferred!)
- Experience with Zendesk ticketing system (a plus!)
