As a Digital Community Moderator, you'll be responsible for:
- Monitoring online chat rooms and forums to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all users
- Responding to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Enforcing community guidelines and rules, using tact, diplomacy, and excellent communication skills
- Documenting user interactions and maintaining records of incidents and issues
- Collaborating with the team to develop and implement community policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service and support to users
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitoring Online Chat Rooms and Forums: + Being vigilant and alert to identify any inappropriate user behavior+ Utilizing monitoring tools to track user activity+ Understanding the platform's functions, features, and policies
- Enforcing Chat Room and Forum Guidelines: + Familiarizing yourself with the platform's rules on hate speech, harassment, and inappropriate content+ Using tact, diplomacy, and excellent communication skills to enforce the rules+ Applying warnings, sanctions, or bans in a fair and consistent manner
