  • *The Role**

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our client data management processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, reviewing, and accurately recording SSA awards and payments in client files
  • Liaising with customer accounts receivables, including clients, payment centers, SSA, and vendors on collections and award-related inquiries
  • Managing your workflow and productivity in the workplace, with minimal supervision
  • Identifying areas of learning needed to better manage client cases, including SSA processes, documentation, interpretation, and application use (PCMS, Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, etc.)
  • Working collaboratively with the Hearing Department, Pre-Hearing Departments, and other teams as needed
  • Responding to phone calls to answer questions for clients and on their behalf
  • Ensuring appropriate staff are aware of all situations that may involve administrative errors
  • Completing special projects and other assigned tasks
  • *Qualifications and Skills**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a direct customer contact position, preferably in a similar industry
  • Customer service orientation, with an energetic and outgoing personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, effectively, and with empathy in potentially difficult circumstances
  • Basic arithmetic skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations and reconcile figures
  • Multitasking skills and a detail-oriented focus, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adjust as needed in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to achieve high productivity and quality standards
  • Proficient working knowledge of Windows OS, Internet, and associated software
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus, but not required
