The Role: Data Analytics Sales Specialist
As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist at arenaflex, you will lead go-to-market strategies and business plays, manage campaigns, and provide feedback to Product and Global Solutions teams to inform our product roadmap. You will act as a solution sales leader within the direct enterprise business organization.
You will serve as a guide to C-level executives and their leaders to help shape their cloud and data analytics strategy and enable digital transformation. Your focus will be on helping clients improve their productivity and harness the power of our products to make their organizations more efficient, collaborative, and accessible to their customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain executive relationships with clients as a data analytics expert, influence long-term strategic direction for new and existing clients, and work closely with arenaflex Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and Customer Engineers (CEs)
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, including comprehensive enterprise planning across key industries, with a focused approach on building and expanding account relationships
- Help clients identify use cases appropriate for arenaflex data and analytics solutions, articulating key solution differentiators and measurable business impacts
- Collaborate with arenaflex Account and Technical teams to develop pipelines and provide expertise to create Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives with arenaflex Cloud Platform partners
- Align business objectives against goals and key results to accurately measure the health and progress of the business for your domain
- Create compelling business cases and develop implementation plans working alongside architects and client technical teams
- Design, pitch, and execute off-site sales strategies and comprehensive go-to-market approaches
- Navigate business and legal agreements effectively with Acquisition, Legal, and Business teams to close complex deals
- Drive revenue growth through consultative selling and a deep understanding of client needs
- Represent arenaflex professionally in client meetings, presentations, and industry events
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics research, data warehousing, or data management software
- Proven experience working with architects or client technical teams to build business cases and develop implementation plans
- Demonstrated success in planning, pitching, and executing off-site sales strategies
- Experience navigating business and legal agreements with Acquisition, Legal, and Business teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis technology stacks including Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Hadoop/Spark Data Lakes, Columnar Data Warehouses, Data Streaming, ETL, and Data Governance
- Strong background in market-leading Business Intelligence (BI) front-end, data analysis middleware, or back-end data warehouse technologies
- In-depth knowledge of arenaflex Cloud Data and Analysis offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and related services)
- Ability to design, pitch, and execute end-to-end sales and client transformation strategies aligned with data and analytics initiatives
- Experience selling enterprise software or cloud solutions to Fortune 500 companies
- Understanding of emerging data trends and best practices in data governance and compliance
- Advanced degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field is a plus
