  • *Overview**

As an independent contractor on our Intuit TurboTax program, you'll provide customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat. Your interactions will focus on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments. To succeed in this role, you'll need to provide an empathetic approach to customer interactions, leveraging critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities and escalating when necessary.

  • **Seasonal contract**: This contract runs through April 15th, 2024.
  • **Flexible schedule opportunities**: You create your own schedule!
  • **Available hours**: Schedule available hours between 7 am and 11 pm CST, Monday - Sunday.
  • **Weekday and weekend options**: Enjoy a range of scheduling options to suit your needs.
  • *Compensation**
  • **Earn up to $19 per hour**: You'll have the opportunity to earn a competitive hourly rate.
  • **Peak rates apply**: January - April, you'll earn on average the equivalent of $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times.

  • *Technology & Equipment Requirements**
  • **Personal computer**: You'll need a personal computer (no tablet).
  • **Broadband internet connection**: You'll need a broadband internet connection, recommended at least 10 MBPS.
  • **Wired internet connection**: You'll need a wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet).
  • **Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system**: You'll need a valid Windows operating system.
  • **Valid antivirus software**: You'll need to have valid antivirus software installed, running and up to date.
  • **USB headset with microphone**: You'll need a USB headset with microphone.
  • **A webcam will be loaned to each contractor**: You'll have access to a webcam for the duration of the contract.

  • **Quiet, uninterrupted space**: You'll need a quiet and uninterrupted space to work.
  • **Organized desk area**: You'll need an organized desk area to ensure efficiency.
  • **Professional appearance**: If on camera, you'll need to maintain a professional appearance.
