  • *Responsibilities:**

As a Customer Service Representative - Driving, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting customers with payment to fully automated revenue control equipment
  • Helping customers with parking services and facilitating the expedient flow of traffic through the facility
  • Leading programs to improve client and customer satisfaction
  • Assisting in the management of the day-to-day activities of the assigned location
  • Monitoring parkers in pay-in lanes
  • Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Providing assistance to customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicle
  • Performing other necessary functions as assigned
  • Conducting garage and facility audits as required by management
  • Counting "bank" of revenue (if required) at the beginning of the shift to ensure the starting total is correct
  • Making change (if required) for customers before transactions
  • Quoting rates for parking services
  • Giving directions to customers to various locations in the city
  • Resolving customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor
  • Answering the telephone in a prompt and courteous manner (if required)
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and picking up trash in the surrounding area
  • Presenting themselves professionally (neat appearance and in uniform) at all times while at work
  • Arriving to work on time for scheduled shifts
  • Completing any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
  • *Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience with automated parking access control hardware and software or a high aptitude for technology
  • A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record
  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • The ability to make change
  • The ability to read, write, and interpret the English language
  • The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, supervisors, and other employees of the organization
  • The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions
  • The ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Adaptability, judgment, and strong personal drive
  • *Work Environment:**

As a Customer Service Representative - Driving, you will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to loud noise levels, moderate to high exposure to vehicle emissions, and moderate to high exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures. You will also be subject to all weather conditions, including precipitation and wind, and will work in bright sunlight and nighttime conditions.
