- *Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused individual to join our Airport Operations Crew as a Customer Support Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, handling their queries and concerns, and ensuring that their travel experience is smooth and enjoyable. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to work collaboratively with other crew members to achieve our goals and deliver outstanding results.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Check customers' identification and verify their travel documents
- Tag, lift, and handle customer baggage
- Report flight arrivals, departures, and pre-boarding information through our public location framework
- Communicate with customers to keep them informed and updated on their travel status
- Offer additional services to our customers, such as "more speed" and "more space"
- Coordinate with other crew members and departments to ensure seamless customer service
- Assist with planning airplane seating for customer boarding and departure
- Operate airport equipment, such as client enplaning/deplaning equipment, such as Stream span, Super way, and airstairs
- Help customers with special needs, such as those who require assistance with boarding
- Perform and pivot through all airport operations-related capabilities (gate, ticket counter, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) certification
- At least 18 years of age
- One year of customer service or sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Ability to pass a customer service evaluation
- Familiarity with arenaflex's Uniform Policy Manual Principles
- Willingness to travel and work variable hours, including weekends and holidays
- Experience using a mouse, PC, keyboard, and basic word processing, email, and office applications
- Ability to use handheld radios and receivers to communicate with operations and make terminal announcements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) ID
- Experience performing under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Depending on the location, may be required to have and maintain a valid Driver's Permit and a driving record that meets arenaflex's safety guidelines
- Depending on the location, may be required to obtain and maintain a US Customs Permit
- Availability for occasional short-term travel (10%)
- Legally qualified to work in the country in which the position is located
- Approval to work in the US is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Two years of customer service, volunteer, or sales experience
- Knowledge of customer service standards and practices
- Experience working with different types of payment (cash, credit cards, traveler's checks, etc.)
- Past carrier experience
- Bilingual abilities

- Regular attendance and reliability
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and short-term shifts
- Willingness to make occasional trips to different locations for training or brief assignments
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- While working or traveling on arenaflex flights, and when time allows, all able crew members are expected to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Comply with all relevant regulations, guidelines (FAA, OSHA, etc.), and arenaflex policies, procedures, and risk controls
- Maintain arenaflex's safety performance metric objectives and understand how they relate to their responsibilities and obligations

- May be required to cover unpredictable tasks that occasionally cause extended workdays

- Moderate physical exertion expected by handling items up to 50 pounds regularly or 70-100 pounds occasionally with the help of others or equipment.
- *Remuneration**
The base salary for this position begins at $15.00. Base salary is one part of arenaflex's comprehensive compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crew member stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability insurance, basic life insurance, free space available travel on arenaflex, and more.
