Position Overview


As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our innovative cloud platform and the customers who rely on it. You will become a trusted technical advisor, helping clients design, implement, and optimize solutions that meet their unique business needs. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.


You will work closely with our sales teams, product management, and engineering groups to ensure that customers receive exceptional technical guidance throughout their journey with arenaflex. From initial consultations to solution design and implementation, you will be instrumental in driving customer success and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



  • Technical Consultation: Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, business objectives, and challenges. Provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, platform solutions, and integration strategies tailored to their specific needs.

  • Solution Design: Develop comprehensive technical solutions that leverage arenaflex's cloud platform. Create detailed architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and proof-of-concept demonstrations that showcase the value of our platform.

  • Product Messaging: Craft and deliver compelling product messaging that highlights the unique differentiators of arenaflex's cloud offerings. Conduct whiteboarding sessions, presentations, product demonstrations, and create white papers that educate and inspire customers.

  • Technical Demonstrations: Utilize arenaflex's cloud platform products to demonstrate and model integrations in customer and partner environments. Showcase the capabilities and potential of our solutions through hands-on demonstrations.

  • Integration Strategy: Investigate and recommend integration strategies, project designs, platforms, and application infrastructure required to execute complete solutions successfully. Provide guidance on best practices for cloud migration and modernization.

  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within arenaflex, gathering feedback and working with product and engineering teams to improve our offerings. Ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

  • Travel and Engagement: Travel to client sites, conferences, and industry events up to 25% of the time to build relationships, conduct workshops, and represent arenaflex professionally.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and arenaflex product updates. Continuously enhance your technical skills to provide the best possible guidance to customers.

Essential Qualifications



  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

  • Technical Experience: Proven experience in technical sales engineering, customer-facing technical roles, or solutions architecture within a cloud computing environment.

  • Cloud Platform Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud service delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and experience with both legacy and modern application development frameworks.

  • Container Technology: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and related tools, understanding of modern deployment practices.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer challenges.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Advanced Networking: In-depth experience with networking concepts including SDN, virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration, load balancing, DNS, VPNs, and their application to PaaS/IaaS technologies.

  • Large-Scale Infrastructure: Experience with large-scale VMware solutions and managing enterprise-level cloud environments.

  • Microservices Architecture: Experience developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Cloud Foundry.

  • DevOps Practices: Familiarity with cloud-native software development techniques and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

  • Monitoring and Logging: Experience with logging and monitoring solutions for hybrid cloud deployments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

  • Emerging Technologies: A passion for learning and working with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud and IT space.

  • Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
