As a Commercial Planning Supervisor at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the launch and day-to-day operations of our streaming service across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Your analytical expertise will help us deliver exceptional content from our iconic brands—including animation studios, beloved character franchises, epic space sagas, and groundbreaking documentary content—to millions of passionate fans across the region.

Position Overview

We are seeking a forward-thinking, analytically driven Commercial Planning Supervisor to join our growing Trading team. This critical position is responsible for ensuring we have clear, aligned targets for subscriber acquisition, marketing budgets, retention metrics, and other essential direct-to-consumer measurements. You will work collaboratively with regional capabilities, business development teams, finance teams, and local market groups to drive our strategic planning processes.

You will become an integral part of our newly established Business Execution and Planning function, which is dedicated to providing a unified view of ongoing trading performance across our streaming service. Your insights will directly influence decision-making to optimize subscriber growth and enhance our market position across diverse European and African markets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial Planning Supervisor at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Planning Development: Support the development of comprehensive planning models, including our annual operating plan model and monthly forecasting model. You will create executive-level summary views, streamlined calculations, and clearly identified inputs and assumptions to support strategic decision-making.

Annual Strategy Support: Contribute to the development of our annual strategy and manage the quarterly planning process, as well as monthly and bi-monthly forecasting activities. Your work will help establish clear targets and performance benchmarks across all our regional markets.

Business Case Modeling: Develop and present business cases and scenarios to support strategic decision-making regarding pricing strategies, go-to-market approaches, and monetization optimization opportunities.

Performance Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc and in-depth analyses on drivers of performance from previous quarters, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in our subscriber acquisition and retention strategies.

Regional Business Updates: Support the anticipation and preparation of EMEA and US business refreshes, ensuring accurate data, compelling narratives, and actionable insights are delivered to stakeholders at all levels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with brand and performance marketing teams, country teams with dedicated trading leads as key local partners, business development and strategy teams, and Finance and Analysis teams across the region and headquarters.

Analytical Excellence: High numeracy and strong analytical capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial modeling and forecasting activities.

Clear Communication: Clear and concise interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in accessible formats to various audiences.

Project Management Capabilities: Demonstrated expertise in prioritizing and managing multiple project timelines and deadlines that run concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of all commitments.
