What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Customer Engineering Manager at arenaflex, you'll be at the forefront of our customer-facing technical operations. Your responsibilities will span team leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on technical guidance. Here's what you can expect:


  • Team Leadership & Development: Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Engineering leadership to determine optimal staffing levels that support our business objectives. You'll establish job requisitions, lead interview teams, and build a high-performing team of technical professionals. Your success will be measured by your team's ability to deliver exceptional technical guidance to our enterprise clients.

  • Technical Enablement: Prepare, train, and equip your Customer Engineering team with the skills and resources they need to succeed. You'll assess your team's go-to-market readiness, identify gaps in preparedness, and develop comprehensive training plans to ensure your team is well-equipped to effectively support our annualized business goals.

  • Strategic Business Development: Work alongside the arenaflex Cloud Sales team leadership to identify, qualify, and prioritize coverage for business opportunities. You'll participate in periodic opportunity assessment meetings, providing critical insights to secure technical success for complex enterprise deals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales Account teams, Customer Support, Product Management, Customer Solutions, and Engineering to resolve product issues affecting pre and post-sales customer satisfaction. You'll serve as the bridge between technical teams and business objectives.

  • Travel & Client Engagement: Travel up to 30% of the time to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support regional team activities. You'll be the face of arenaflex to our most important enterprise accounts.

What We're Looking For: Minimum Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong technical foundation combined with proven leadership experience. We're seeking candidates who bring:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. We value real-world skills and knowledge alongside traditional academic credentials.

  • Technical Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience leading a technical team in a cloud computing environment, or a comparable customer-facing role. You should have a track record of guiding technical professionals and driving team success.

  • AI/ML Expertise: Experience developing or leveraging machine learning solutions and building applications using AI frameworks and methods. You should be comfortable working with the latest AI technologies and understanding how to apply them to real-world business challenges.

  • Competitive Salary: The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $154,000-$236,000, depending on position, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
