As an Engineer and Project Manager, you will oversee a small team to ensure quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements for the procurement of AP1000 equipment and services.
Responsibilities
- You will support Supplier Identification and down selection
- Also, you will support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations
- Creation of the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule
- Coordinate Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points
- Create Agendas and support Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers
- Schedule and support scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly) with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members
- Schedule and support pre-job briefs and kick-off meetings for important/critical PO manufacturing activities
- Support Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
- 0 or more years of experience in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries
- Experience in other industries is also acceptable, including Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Capability Assessment concepts/Supplier Technical Evaluations
