Designer - 6 month FTC

DEPT® is a Growth Invention company that helps ambitious brands grow faster through innovative technology and marketing solutions. The Designer role involves creating engaging designs and collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality digital communications that meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Working on a brief from start to finish
• Contributing with innovative ideas at creative briefs
• Creating high-quality design work
• Image sourcing and digital artworking
• AI prompting and image generation
• Designing responsive, customer-centric emails (and more!)
• Always striving to create work that contributes to client's business goals
• Staying current with design and marketing trends
• Learn and grow from constructive feedback
• Being able to mentor more junior members of the team
• Taking accountability for flawless design output
• Delivering work on time and within the scheduled timeframes
• Designing small animations (simple GIFs) for digital assets

Skills

• Digital design experience on industry standard design frameworks like Figma and Photoshop
• Self driven and resourceful
• Good eye for layout, skilled in typesetting and retouching
• A great teammate that supports their colleagues and doesn't act as an individual
• Very organised with attention to detail
• Has a desire to embrace new skills and challenges
• Experience with Weavy.ai or other node-based AI systems a plus
