We are currently seeking dedicated Customer Service Professionals to join our OSGLI Customer Service Center. In this role, you will be the voice of arenaflex, handling correspondence and phone calls from service members, Veterans, and their loved ones. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Professional at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to those who have served our nation. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Policyholder Support: Provide detailed information to policyholders, parents, spouses, and beneficiaries regarding their coverage, benefits, and policy details. You will serve as a trusted resource, answering questions with accuracy and compassion.
- Inquiry Management: Receive, evaluate, and respond to customer inquiries that may range from routine questions to more complex issues requiring deviation from standard procedures. You will need to adapt to unique situations while maintaining quality service.
- System Utilization: Utilize our computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting. You will efficiently navigate multiple platforms to provide timely and accurate information.
- Problem Resolution: Address product, account, policy, and service inquiries by resolving problems and promoting appropriate products or services. Your goal will be to ensure every customer feels heard and supported.
- Needs Assessment: Assess customer needs and suggest or promote alternative products or services that may benefit them. You will act as an advisor, helping customers make informed decisions.
- Independent Decision-Making: Handle most calls and transactions independently, exercising good judgment to escalate issues appropriately when necessary. Your ability to know when to seek guidance will be key to your success.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience: One to three years of directly related customer service experience, along with well-developed transaction processing skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
- Customer Focus: Strong people skills and the ability to think like the customer, always prioritizing their needs and experience.
- Service Passion: A genuine passion for delivering top-quality service and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Reliability: Proven record of dependability, punctuality, and reliable attendance—critical for success in a fast-moving, inbound service center.
- Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with keyboarding and window-based applications, including the Internet. You must be comfortable learning new software systems.
- Self-Motivation: Proven self-motivation skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- Active Listening: Strong active listening skills to understand customer concerns fully and respond appropriately.

- Education: A college degree is preferred; however, equivalent business or military experience will be considered.

Work Schedule and Location
This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home. However, due to the nature of this role, all candidates must reside within 60 miles of one of the following arenaflex office locations: Newark, NJ, Fort Washington, PA, Moosic, PA, Jacksonville, FL, Hartford, CT, Shelton, CT, Portland, ME, or Minneapolis, MN. This requirement ensures that you can attend in-person events or address technical issues when necessary.
Training Schedule: Training will typically fall between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
Work Hours: The OSGLI Customer Service Center is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. You must have the flexibility to work either of the following shifts: 7:50 AM – 3:50 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Actual shift assignments will be determined after hire. Mandatory overtime may be required during peak periods.

Remote Work Requirements
To ensure success in this remote role, all new hires must meet the following technical and environmental standards:
- Internet Connection: Subscribe to an internet service provider plan with at least 25 Mbps download speeds. You must be willing to troubleshoot any issues or outages with your home internet service, contacting your service provider as necessary. A wired Ethernet connection (connected directly into a router, Wi-Fi extender, or MESH system) is required—connecting via Wi-Fi is not permitted.
- Equipment: Use of a USB-wired headset with noise cancellation features is required for all Customer Service Professionals.
- Phone Capability: You must have the capability to handle calls with a cell phone (with unlimited data and minutes) or a landline. Your personal phone number will not be identified to customers.
- Workspace: Maintain a quiet area in your home with minimal distractions and a noise-free environment suitable for customer interactions.
- Reliability: Demonstrated reliability and dependability throughout our extensive training program is mandatory.

Salary Range: The base salary for this role ranges from $39,400.00 to $58,500.00, with specific pricing based on factors such as geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
