They are seeking a Customer Processing Representative to handle various administrative functions related to Group Retirement Plans, working closely with a Customer Service Specialist to assist in daily tasks and ensure a positive customer experience.


Responsibilities

  • Processing of both group and single contributions
  • Processing of member applications
  • Processing of cash withdrawals and transfers between registered plans from/to other financial institutions, including more complex withdrawal types
  • Preparation of member disclosures and taking appropriate action at default stage
  • Handling member and member plan maintenance on GPAS for both Registered and Non-Registered plan types
  • Fostering relationships with administration staff with a team goal of providing the best customer experience

Skills

  • Has a customer service focus with a positive and can-do attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
  • Responsive to phone calls and emails within service delivery timeframes using sound verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively use MS Office programs at an intermediate level (Word, Excel & Outlook) required
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Proven organization skills with the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Previous experience working in a results-driven role with tight deadlines
  • Ability to stay focused with excellent attention to detail while performing routine tasks
  • Self-motivated and flexible to contribute as required in a team environment
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations as they relate to GRS products would be an asset
  • Knowledge of investment/retirement arrangements and/or business processes within GRS would be an asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset (fluent in French and English) but is required for Quebec only as the position will regularly serve our clients with French and English-speaking needs
