Associate Quantitative Analyst – MDT

Federated Hermes is a leading investment manager known for its commitment to responsible investing. As an Associate Quantitative Analyst on the MDT Investment Team, you will conduct research and apply advanced statistical methods to enhance investment models.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify, test, and refine predictive signals
• Analyze large, high-dimensional financial datasets using modern statistical and machine learning methods
• Design experiments and build research prototypes in production-quality code
• Collaborate with senior researchers to validate model assumptions, and enhance the robustness of the investment process

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, applied math, or similar quantitative discipline required
• Strong programming ability required
• Research experience, experience working with Python in a scientific setting, and experience working with large datasets preferred
