Analyst, Surveys

AlphaSights is a leading firm that connects clients with expert knowledge to enhance their decision-making. The Analyst on the Surveys team will enable clients to collect insights through online surveys, providing analytical expertise and driving the growth of the Surveys service.

Responsibilities

• Clean, analyze, and draw valuable insights from survey data and create presentation-ready reports to deliver immediately accessible insights to clients
• Build processes to minimize unforced errors throughout complex stages of a survey project
• Progress our capabilities to service sophisticated research methodologies (e.g. pricing questions) via advanced survey coding, authoring, and analysis
• Work with AlphaSights clients across all parts of the business, including at leading investment firms, corporations, and consulting firms, and offices to provide analytical support as needed
• Identify new and maintain existing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Skills

• Entry-level role: 0-2 years of working experience
• Relevant work/internship experience at a consulting, market research firm, or in a role working with data in a business context
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Holding a 3.5 GPA or above in a quantitative degree (e.g., Engineering, Maths, Economics, Finance)
• Great problem solver with an aptitude for solving complex and unstructured problems
• Comfortable with ambiguity and high level of autonomy
• Highly driven and proactive with excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to create impact by solving business problems and providing actionable data insights
• Effective communicator with excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous with high standards and obsessive attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Must pass a quantitative based test for application to be progressed
• Familiarity with coding (SQL, Python, R, VBA etc.) is a plus
• Familiarity with survey platforms (Decipher, Qualtrics, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with multiple reporting mediums (Periscope, Tableau etc.) is a plus
