Actuarial Summer Internship

Aledade seeks Actuarial Summer Interns for a 10-week hands-on internship focused on data analysis and financial modeling in value-based healthcare.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:
• Drive value-based care through sophisticated data analysis and financial modeling.
• Take ownership of substantive projects such as analyzing Medicare Advantage data and building a historical database for Commercial.
• Attend meetings with other interns and company leaders.
• Participate in professional development programming.
• Gain exposure to senior executives and industry leaders.
• Develop expertise in healthcare policy, programming languages, business operations, Medicare, commercial payer contracts, and clinical workflows.
• Attend relevant healthcare events and trainings.

About You

The company is looking for:
• Students in actuarial science or related bachelor’s degree programs.
• Preferably candidates with at least one actuarial exam passed.
• Knowledge of Excel and programming languages such as SQL is a plus.
• Prior internship experience.
• A strong record of academic success.
• Passion for healthcare and making a positive impact.
• Self-starter able to take initiative and ownership of projects.
• Collaborative team player.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated to produce high-quality work.
