- Administrative Duties: Handle phone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including calls to physicians. Process manual claims for third-party prescription benefit programs in a timely and efficient manner. Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Director or store management.
- Inventory Management: Assist the Pharmacy Division with inventory management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications. Maintain knowledge of organization asset security procedures and report claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods, including prescription drugs. Keep counters and displays clean, well-organized, and properly promoted. Perform inventory checks and pricing as required or as directed by senior management.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding controlled substances such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. Follow all company policies and procedures diligently while maintaining respectful relationships with colleagues.
- Display and Merchandising: Build and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale signage. Complete resets and corrections as directed. Assist with the placement of food items and product positioning according to established procedures. For consumable items, aid in inventory rotation using the first-in, first-out method and restock outs.
- Photo Department Support: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital photo printing, banner printing, and creative machine operations. Handle special orders for unique photo products.
- Online Order Fulfillment: Take on web order responsibilities, including monitoring orders in the Picture Care system, fulfilling orders by picking items, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
