Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to deliver high-impact threat intelligence to our clients' security and operational environments. In this client-facing position based in Virginia, you will serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex threat data into strategic insights that drive protective actions. You will also act as a connector to arenaflex's extensive network of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and information operations experts.
This is an on-site, full-time role that requires active engagement with clients and collaborative work within fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following:
- Threat Analysis & Intelligence Development: Conduct strategic, tactical, and operational research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats and threat actor groups. Connect intelligence to develop comprehensive understanding of tracked threat activity.
- Threat Landscape Evaluation: Assess current and emerging tools, methodologies, and best practices for tracking advanced threats, including threat actors' tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Stay ahead of industry trends and attacker motivations.
- Intelligence Reporting & Briefing: Design and deliver high-quality briefings and reports to client leadership, security teams, and individual practitioners. Present tactical and strategic intelligence about threat groups, their methodologies, and the motivations behind their activities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences including C-suite executives, technical security professionals, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with arenaflex's vast network of cybersecurity experts, incident responders, and threat intelligence specialists to ensure comprehensive coverage and support for client needs.
- Capability Building: Mentor and guide emerging threat intelligence team members, sharing expertise and helping develop the next generation of analysts.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, International Relations, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) role in a client-facing environment.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) techniques and applications in one or more functional areas: Identify, Protect, Respond, or Recover.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in stakeholder management, including leading presentations and reporting to diverse audiences such as executive leadership.
- Security Clearance: Active US Government Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Data (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the practical use, processing, and analysis of tactical (technical) Cyber Threat Intelligence within operational environments, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
- Strong understanding of CTI methodologies and application concepts, with the ability to advise and guide emerging CTI team members.
- Ability to synthesize raw intelligence from sensors, incident response engagements, and various sources into comprehensive reports and briefings.
- Proven track record of presenting written or verbal information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capability to navigate complex, ambiguous topics, develop strategies, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in fast-moving and continuously evolving environments.

Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is $20-30 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and performance-based bonuses. Location
This position is based in Virginia, USA. Due to the nature of the work and client requirements, this is an on-site, client-facing role. Remote work is not authorized for this position. Candidates must be willing to work from our Virginia office and travel to client sites as needed.
