The Faculty Training Specialist serves as a strategic leader in faculty development, responsible for the creation, delivery, and continuous improvement of faculty training protocols, onboarding practices, and professional development initiatives. This role focuses on designing and leading innovative faculty training programs and equipping faculty with cutting-edge teaching strategies and educational technology tools. By leveraging data-driven insights and collaboration with academic leaders, the Faculty Training Specialist ensures faculty are well-prepared to deliver equitable and effective learning experiences for all students.
This position goes beyond operational support, emphasizing proactive leadership in faculty development initiatives, including the creation of training frameworks, delivering impactful learning sessions, and leading collaborative efforts that align with the institution's academic goals.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership in Faculty Training (30%)
New Faculty Onboarding and Training (20%)
Educational Technology and LMS Implementation (20%)
Faculty Development Week and Event Leadership (20%)
Data-Driven Improvement Strategies (10%)
Reporting Relationships:
The Faculty Training Specialist reports to the Faculty Training Manager.
