**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Sports Information Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports information across all ESPN platforms. This is a part-time position that requires full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Ensure sports information disseminated by the Sports Information Management team is accurate, timely, and insightful
* Work independently and in teams to deliver accurate and timely detailed breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other metrics and data that power a wide range of ESPN products and productions
* Create and maintain a working knowledge of the Sports Information Management team's role in fueling ESPN digital products and television productions
* Conduct thorough reviews of one's own work and that of others, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Contribute to the development of new products, projects, and initiatives across the newsroom, and assist newsroom leaders in coordinating full- and part-time staff
* Anticipate potential issues, both short-term and long-term, and propose potential solutions
* Communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues on these issues
* Play an active role in working with colleagues to develop or refine production processes
* Participate actively in team and office meetings
* Seek and respond to feedback on personal performance
* Stay up-to-date on current office policies and procedures
**Required Capabilities**
* Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and the rules of various sports
* Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports information that powers ESPN's digital and television products
* Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments
* Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom
**Preferred Capabilities**
* 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, preferably in media
* Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes
* Working knowledge of ESPN products and productions
* Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
* Experience leading or training a team
* Ability to speak and write Spanish
* Experience using social media in a business or news context
**Required Education**
* High school diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Education**
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
