Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our AI and ML engineering team, you'll play a critical role in developing and deploying AI-powered solutions that drive business outcomes and improve patient care. This is a part-time, remote opportunity that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of a dynamic and innovative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI and ML models that drive business outcomes and improve patient care.
- Work with large datasets to develop and train AI and ML models using various techniques, including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
- Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI and ML models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders, clinicians, and patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our solutions.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in AI and ML, with a strong focus on data-driven modeling and analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, with experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, and experience with deep learning techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with:
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
