Transactional Associate Attorney (Flexible Hybrid Offered)

Nissenbaum Law Group, LLC is a boutique, full-service commercial law firm seeking a motivated attorney with a focus on corporate law. The role involves managing a caseload, drafting and reviewing agreements, advising clients on sales and acquisitions, and providing general counsel services.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of assignments across numerous clients and varying industries
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and providing consultation to clients relating to agreements in a wide array of fields, including intellectual property, entertainment and sports, construction, health and digital businesses
• Advising clients with respect to all stages of sales and acquisitions of a variety of businesses from inception through closing
• Preparing corporate governance documents for both for-profit and nonprofit entities
• Providing general counsel services for a variety of for-profit and nonprofit entities
• Filing trademarks and copyrights and collaborating with the litigation team respecting the enforcement of those rights
• Conducting complex legal research and analysis into nuanced areas of law, industry regulations, and practices

Skills

• JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school (PLEASE NOTE: A Master of Laws degree that was earned instead of a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school is not a sufficient substitute.)
• Admission in New Jersey is required; admission in Pennsylvania or New York is preferred
• Relevant experience is preferred
• Must be able to concisely and accurately communicate, both orally and in writing
• Exceptional legal research and analysis skills
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of perseverance and business-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant experience is preferred
