The role involves designing and detailing efficient structures, acting as the Project Engineer on various projects, and developing strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Design and detail efficient structures that are code compliant, accurate and high quality
- Act as the Project Engineer on multiple projects that vary in size and complexity
- Develop skills in software like RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, MathCAD, and RISA 3D
- Manage project cost through effective planning and prioritization
- Develop strong client relationships
Skills
- BS in Civil or Architectural Engineering
- Certified as EIT
- MS preferred
- Structural engineering experience in building design, including intern or co-op experience is preferred
