In this role, you will become an integral part of our US Consumer Line Engagement and Payment Capture team, driving the product strategy and end-to-end customer experience for our Line Increase and Payment Capture Programs—key drivers of engagement and lending commitment with our existing US Consumer Lending Cardmembers.

Position Overview


We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Product Analyst to join our team in New York, USA. This is a full-time position offering a competitive annual salary of $76,000, with flexible shift options available to accommodate your lifestyle and preferences.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving lending strategy and growth by creating and delivering comprehensive product analyses and reports that uncover meaningful product insights. Working alongside diverse cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Risk, Finance, Research, and Analytics, you will support portfolio and performance management for our Line and Payment Capture product portfolio.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for quantitative analysis and the ability to synthesize dashboard trends, various data reports, and competitive analyses to generate actionable business proposals and hypotheses that will help shape program strategy and roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead monthly product performance reporting, requiring synthesis from multiple data reports and dashboards to provide comprehensive insights into portfolio health and growth opportunities

  • Conduct product analysis, generating meaningful, data-driven insights while utilizing data available in Big Data Platform via SQL/HQL to support initiatives and frame innovative strategies across the Line and Payment Capture portfolio

  • Apply data analysis techniques to identify and address business questions; demonstrate deep understanding of key lending metrics and trends to connect the dots across various reports and data sources

  • Partner closely with key stakeholders including Marketing, Risk, Digital, Finance, Research, and Analytics to develop strategic cross-functional analysis activities and gain greater visibility into the end-to-end Line Increase and Payment Capture data ecosystem

  • Support portfolio management efforts by actively participating in the review of end-to-end product performance and identifying new learning opportunities in collaboration with key partner teams

  • Present portfolio findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively, backed by rigorous analysis, securing necessary buy-in and support from leadership and partner teams

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that enable real-time monitoring of product performance and key performance indicators

  • Contribute to strategic planning by providing data-backed recommendations for product improvements, feature enhancements, and customer experience optimizations

  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in data analysis, SQL querying, and analytical methodologies

Essential Qualifications



  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field is required

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL/HQL and data analysis in a professional setting

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in querying and analyzing large datasets using SQL/HQL in Big Data environments

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data analysis results and performance trends to derive meaningful business insights

  • Problem-Solving: Innovative mindset with proven ability to synthesize and connect diverse data points, financial analyses, customer research, and competitive intelligence to drive business recommendations

  • Project Management: Thorough with a history of executing on cross-functional initiatives while balancing multiple priorities and managing tight deadlines

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex analytical findings to diverse audiences in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications



  • Prior experience in strategy or relevant industry experience within the financial services, fintech, or payments sector

  • Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS

  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker

  • Understanding of consumer lending products, credit card operations, or payment processing systems

  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Analytics, or related field) is a plus
