Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough research on social science topics using reputable sources and current literature
• Write clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to diverse audiences, including academic, policy, and general readers
• Proofread and copy edit drafts to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style, such as APA Style
• Fact-check information to maintain accuracy and credibility in published materials
• Edit content for coherence, flow, and consistency while maintaining the original voice and intent
• Collaborate with me to refine content quality and ensure project objectives are met
• Adhere to deadlines without compromising quality

Requirements
• Experience in research writing within social sciences, data sciences or hard sciences
• Strong editing skills with proficiency in proofreading, copy editing, and writing in the style of academic journals
• Good communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
• Demonstrated experience in research methodologies and fact-checking processes
• Familiarity with style guides, including APA Style guidelines for academic writing
• Proficiency in word processing tools and content management systems
• Creative writing skills to craft engaging narratives from research data
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience with and education in statistics and any statistical software program(s)
