SEO Content Writer (Landlord / Legal Content – High Authority, Research-Driven)
Posted 2026-05-06Overview
We are building a large-scale content hub focused on landlords, rental properties, and legal documentation (leases, notices, state laws, etc.).
This is not a typical blog writing role.
We are looking for a serious, detail-oriented writer who can produce high-authority, fully researched, SEO-driven content that can compete with (and beat) top-ranking sites.
If you rely on AI to generate content — this is not the right fit.
What We Need
We need long-form content pages that are:
- 100% original and human-written (no AI-generated content)
- Deeply researched with credible sources and citations
- Structured to rank in Google for competitive keywords
- Built as authoritative resources, not surface-level articles
Each page should feel like:
“This is the best resource on the internet for this topic.”
Content Types
You will primarily create:
- State-specific landlord-tenant law pages
- “How-to” guides (e.g., eviction process, lease creation, rent increases)
- Legal document explainers (lease agreements, notices, addendums)
- Landlord resource hub pages
Content Requirements
Each piece must include:
1. SEO Optimization
- Proper keyword targeting (primary + secondary + long-tail)
- Search intent alignment (informational vs commercial)
- Clean heading structure (H1–H3)
- Internal linking opportunities identified
2. Depth & Coverage
- Fully comprehensive (not thin content)
- Covers all major subtopics users expect
- Answers related questions (People Also Ask style)
3. Research & Accuracy
- Backed by credible sources (government sites, statutes, legal references)
- Includes citations and references
- No generic or unverifiable claims
4. Data & Tables
- Include structured data tables where useful (e.g., state laws, timelines, fees)
- Summarize complex info into clear, scannable formats
5. Formatting & Readability
- Clean, structured formatting
- Bullet points, callouts, and sections where appropriate
- Written for clarity and authority (not fluff)
Quality Bar (Important)
We are not looking for:
- Generic blog writers
- AI-assisted content
- Light research or rewritten content
We are looking for:
- Writers who can produce publication-grade, authoritative content
- Someone who thinks like an editor + researcher + SEO strategist
Deliverables
Each article should include:
- Final written content
- Source links/references
- Suggested internal links (if applicable)
- Suggested title + meta description
Volume & Opportunity
- Ongoing work (large backlog of content to produce)
- Potential for long-term engagement if quality is high
- We are building hundreds to thousands of pages
