About the Role

As a Workflow Systems Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in delivering valuable data and insights across the organization. You will work closely with partners throughout the company to provide education and support in support of workflow initiatives. Your expertise will help shape how our teams build, test, and deploy software, ultimately impacting millions of users worldwide.

This position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization. You'll be instrumental in characterizing the current state of our workflows, profiling complex systems, documenting them thoroughly, and identifying areas for improvement that will drive efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards that visualize key metrics and progress toward organizational goals using advanced Tableau capabilities


• Data Analysis: Serve as an insight and visualization expert for our mature team of Data Scientists and Engineers, translating complex data into understandable narratives


• Iterative Design: Lead iterative dashboard design processes, presenting solutions to teams, gathering feedback, and continuously improving end products


• Workflow Characterization: Profile complex systems, document current states comprehensively, and identify target areas for improvement


• Insights Generation: Identify patterns and trends in large datasets, providing predictive and prescriptive analytics that drive strategic decisions


• Change Leadership: Work directly with partner teams to drive action—translating insights into measurable wins and policy recommendations


• Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings and recommendations to all levels of leadership, influencing strategic direction through data-driven storytelling


• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams, product managers, and operational teams to understand workflow challenges and develop appropriate analytical solutions

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a similar analytical role


• Strong working knowledge of Analytics methodologies including visualization, statistics, and the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive)


• Proven ability to translate research into actionable insights: develop key metrics, recommend policy changes, and deliver action plans to all levels of leadership


• Advanced Tableau developer skills with experience building complex, interactive dashboards


• Strong SQL capabilities including aggregation, nested queries, and data inspection/validation


• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with Software Development Analytics: CI/CD pipelines, DORA metrics, and LEAN software delivery methodologies


• Hands-on experience in Software Development environments: understanding build pipelines, merging processes, testing systems and methodologies, and code delivery workflows


• Product Ownership experience: fully accountable for key results for projects, with experience driving efforts and generating concrete results through analytics


• Project management skills: ability to plan and drive efforts while working across partner teams toward unified goals


• Experience with workflow automation tools and process improvement methodologies


• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their application to business problems
