Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our Strategic Sourcing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with business stakeholders across the organization to make intelligent sourcing decisions in selecting service providers to maximize the value of our substantial annual professional services spend, and to mitigate risks through intelligent contract negotiations.

This role involves leading RFPs, negotiating organization and segment-level deals, managing vendor relationships, recommending best-in-class providers and innovations, facilitating process improvements, and bringing stakeholders across the segments together for collaboration and leveraging opportunities. What You'll Do

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist at arenaflex, you will become an integral part of a dynamic team responsible for the strategic sourcing of Professional Services. You will build relationships with key executives, advise on market engagement to identify the best vendor partners, lead deal negotiations, and help optimize cross-segment vendor relationships. This role will expose you to a wide variety of projects spanning numerous service-providing industries, including consulting and advisory, financial, tax, audit, data subscriptions, translations, temporary workers, managed services, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing Leadership: Participate and lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and select optimal vendor partners for professional services engagements.


• Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate providers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and quality standards.


• RFP Process Management: Develop and lead RFI/RFP procedures for professional services according to arenaflex policies and procedures, ensuring thoroughness and compliance.


• Cost Analysis: Analyze bids based on total cost/delivery to identify opportunities to obtain the most desirable value for the organization.


• Negotiation Excellence: Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiation strategies utilizing Strategic Sourcing methodology to achieve optimal outcomes.


• Contract Management: Prepare and execute contracts as well as perform post-award administration, ensuring compliance and performance monitoring.


• Performance Management: Understand and assist in the development and execution of performance management programs with providers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness.


• Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices across all engagements.


• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate and report to management the status of any important external relationships that could affect planning and decision-making processes.


• Market Analysis: Analyze industry trends and situations that affect internal stakeholders and external providers and/or pricing structures.


• Continuous Learning: Participate in professional development activities to keep abreast of contemporary industry best practices and emerging trends.


• Ethical Standards: Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all business dealings and relationship management.


• Contract Drafting: Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements, with particular expertise in drafting and executing expert services agreements.


• Legal Collaboration: Have experience working with a legal department on topics regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions, ensuring protective and favorable contract language.

What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with at least 2 years specifically in services category sourcing.


• Relationship Building: Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels, from entry-level team members to executive leadership.


• Strategic Agility: Strong strategic agility with the ability to anticipate future consequences and trends accurately.


• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis, cost modeling, and market research.


• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.


• Negotiation: Strong negotiation abilities with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes in complex vendor negotiations.


• Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.


• Client Focus: Internal client awareness with a service-oriented mindset and commitment to stakeholder satisfaction.


• Adaptability: Ability and preference to work in diverse environments, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.

Required Knowledge

• Comprehensive knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes and methodologies


• Understanding of basic legal terms & conditions commonly used in commercial contracts


• Familiarity with entertainment industry trends and market dynamics


• Proven proficiency with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements


• Established experience working with the legal department on topics regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services


• Professional Services Sourcing background is strongly preferred


• Consulting/Advisory background is a plus


• Experience in vendor management and relationship optimization


• Knowledge of category management strategies


• Background in cross-functional project leadership

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field

Preferred: Advanced degree or certifications in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Business Administration

Compensation & Benefits
