Position Overview: Operations Support Analyst Internship
We are currently seeking motivated candidates for our Operations Support Analyst position, which offers a comprehensive 12-week internship program running from May 21 to August 9, 2024. This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, Texas, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $26 per hour. As an intern, you will work 40 hours per week, immersing yourself in real projects that directly impact our operations and customer experience.
The internship is designed to provide you with meaningful, hands-on experience across multiple operational areas. Depending on your interests and the needs of the organization, you may be assigned to work within our Ground Operations team or our Sales Operations team. Either way, you'll be actively contributing to important initiatives while developing your professional skills and building your network within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Support Analyst at arenaflex, your responsibilities will vary depending on your assigned team but will generally include:
Ground Operations Track:
- Data Analysis and Problem Solving: Conduct thorough analysis of external solutions to support informed decision-making regarding operational challenges, particularly related to baggage handling issues and service disruptions. You'll leverage data-driven insights to identify root causes and develop innovative solutions.
- Business Intelligence: Deliver analysis and recommendations that demonstrate a clear understanding of business priorities while considering the broader impact across functional teams and the organization as a whole.
- Resource Management: Identify requirements for initiating or supplementing project resources, ensuring that initiatives have the support needed to succeed.
- Process Improvement: Recognize areas for improving operational performance and business processes through a deep understanding of customer insights, confirmation data, key requirements, and risk management principles.
- Compliance Auditing: Lead periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance policies and procedures are consistently followed, maintaining our high standards of operational excellence.
- Data Visualization and Reporting: Collect, organize, visualize, and synthesize data, transforming raw information into meaningful insights using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
- Project Leadership: Lead and facilitate project meetings and presentations to management, effectively communicating findings and recommendations.

Sales Operations Track:
- Sales Support: Support the sales team with analysis, sales tools, CRM platforms (including Salesforce), and dashboard reporting to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.
- Communication Development: Create and distribute communications and announcements to the arenaflex Business Group and valued clients, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to the arenaflex Business Group and clients by responding to and managing customer and sales inquiries using CRM tools and other communication channels.
- Training and Onboarding: Assist in creating and delivering onboarding and training materials for the team, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.
- Sales Initiatives: Participate in ad-hoc sales projects, promotions, and planning activities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the sales lifecycle.
- Additional Duties: Perform other job-related responsibilities as directed by your supervisors to support overall team objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (current student or recent graduate).
- Availability: Must be available to work the full 12-week internship period from May 21 to August 9, 2024.
