Position Summary
The Sr. Resource Manager, Marketing PMO is responsible for driving resource planning, capacity management, and workforce optimization across the Marketing organization. This role supports a high-volume, multi-channel marketing environment, ensuring alignment between prioritized demand and available capacity across teams and workstreams.
The Marketing organization operates in a complex, fast-paced environment with significant campaign volume across channels, teams, and stakeholders. The Sr. Resource Manager brings structure, visibility, and discipline to resource planning, enabling efficient allocation of work, reducing bottlenecks, and improving delivery predictability and throughput.
This role is a key contributor to the success and maturity of the Marketing PMO. It combines operational execution with forward-looking planning and analytical insight, ensuring that resource decisions are data-driven and aligned to business priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Resource Planning and Allocation
Lead resource planning and allocation across Marketing, ensuring alignment between skills, capacity, and prioritized demand
Continuously monitor resource utilization and adjust assignments to optimize delivery, reduce bottlenecks, and improve throughput
Support prioritization decisions by providing visibility into capacity constraints and trade-offs

Capacity Planning and Forecasting
Develop and maintain forward-looking capacity forecasts based on pipeline demand and roadmap visibility
Identify resource gaps and risks; recommend solutions including hiring, reallocation, or outsourcing
Partner with Marketing and PMO leadership to support workforce planning and headcount strategy

PMO Operations and Governance
Establish and maintain consistent resource management processes, tools, and operating rhythms across the Marketing PMO
Ensure alignment between intake, prioritization, and resource allocation
Drive adoption of standardized resourcing practices across teams

Measurement and Continuous Improvement
Track and report on resource utilization, capacity, and delivery performance
Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across teams and workstreams
Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations to improve planning, prioritization, and delivery outcomes

Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner with Marketing, Creative, Automation, Analytics, and other teams to align resource strategy with business priorities
Support Project Managers and stakeholders in understanding capacity constraints and implications
Drive transparency and communication around resourcing decisions and impacts

Work Management and Technology Enablement
Maintain hands-on expertise in Adobe Workfront as the marketing work management system of record
Ensure accurate resourcing data, reporting, and adoption of best practices
Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled tools to improve resource planning, forecasting, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in marketing project management, resource management, or operations within a cross-functional marketing organization
Direct experience supporting integrated, multi-channel marketing initiatives including paid media, web, email, print, and related channels (digital-only or single-channel experience is not sufficient)
Proven experience managing resource allocation across multiple teams and workstreams
Hands-on experience with Adobe Workfront (or equivalent work management platform), with strong preference for Workfront expertise
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make actionable recommendations to inform business and resourcing decisions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with capacity planning, forecasting, and performance reporting
Ability to influence and align stakeholders across varying levels of the organization
Professional fluency in written and verbal English is required, as this role regularly partners with English-speaking stakeholder across teams and regions

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within a Marketing PMO or large-scale enterprise marketing organization
Experience supporting workforce planning and headcount strategy
Experience driving process standardization and operational efficiency initiatives
Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to improve PMO workflows, resource planning, reporting, or operational efficiency
