What You'll Do
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our customer care technology platform. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead development of full stack features – Design and implement robust solutions spanning user interfaces to backend services, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across all components.
- Translate product requirements into technical designs – Work closely with product managers to convert business requirements into comprehensive technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Build advanced front-end applications – Develop reusable ReactJS components and high-performance web applications using Redux, TypeScript, NodeJS, and modern front-end technologies.
- Architect backend services – Design and implement scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, following best practices in distributed systems architecture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally – Partner closely with architects, staff engineers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure technical alignment and successful project delivery.
- Drive code quality – Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and establish best practices in unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues – Resolve complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Lead platform modernization – Guide migration efforts from legacy systems to modern, cloud-native architectures, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
What You Will Bring
We're looking for a talented engineer with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will bring:
- 5+ years of experience in full stack software development, with a strong focus on modern web technologies.
- Front-end expertise – Deep experience with ReactJS, Redux, TypeScript, ES6, NodeJS, and front-end performance optimization techniques.
- Backend proficiency – Strong backend development skills with Java, Spring Boot, REST API design, and microservices architecture.
- Distributed systems experience – Experience building distributed systems with Kafka or other messaging frameworks.
- Cloud platform knowledge – Preferably Azure experience, with a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and services.
- CI/CD expertise – Strong background in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Solid technical foundations – Strong grounding in data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles.
- Leadership abilities – Proven track record of leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and driving continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be highly valued:
- Experience leading large-scale system modernization or application migration projects.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms or customer support tools.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of observability tools and practices.
- Background in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
- Experience with assistive technologies and digital accessibility integration.

Compensation & Benefits

- Annual salary range – $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
