Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Enterprise Data Warehouse Manager to lead our Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence initiatives. In this critical role, you will design, develop, maintain, and support our comprehensive data infrastructure using various industry-leading data and BI tools. What You'll Do

As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for the following core responsibilities:

• Enterprise Data Warehouse Development: Work in a time-sensitive environment to analyze, plan, develop, and deliver robust Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions that meet evolving business requirements.


• Pipeline Construction: Create efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Airflow to ensure seamless data integration from multiple sources into our centralized data repository.


• Business Intelligence Reporting: Build ad-hoc reports to support more inquisitive data users and provide automation using Tableau, delivering insights that drive strategic decision-making.


• Platform Management: Design, develop, maintain, and support our Enterprise Data Warehouse and BI platform utilizing various data and BI instruments, ensuring high availability and performance.


• Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster collaborative relationships and work closely with key business sponsors, IT resources to gather requirements and efficiently resolve issues and inquiries.


• Communication Excellence: Deliver technical and business topics in a comprehensive 360-degree approach as required; communicate effectively using written, verbal, and presentation materials.


• Standards and Compliance: Develop, support, and recommend improvements to applications in the areas of standards, procedures, compliance, and quality assurance practices; actively participate in design and code walkthroughs.


• Release Management: Take ownership of the release process and ensure smooth deployment of data solutions to production environments.


• Continuous Learning: Stay current on relevant technologies and frameworks, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our data infrastructure.


• Priority Management: Prioritize work based on highest impact to the business, managing multiple concurrent projects effectively.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications:

• Technical Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience creating data pipelines using Python and Airflow is required.


• Database Expertise: Proven experience designing DataMarts, Data Warehouses, and database objects within relational databases including MySQL, SQL Server, and Vertica is required.


• SQL Proficiency: Strong capability in SQL and query writing is required, with the ability to optimize complex queries for performance.


• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, organizational abilities with the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


• Executive Reporting: Extensive experience creating impactful dashboards and reports for C-level executives.


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions.


• Knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks.


• Background in the automotive or technology industry.


• Experience with machine learning integration into data pipelines.
