- *Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- **Providing Exceptional Customer Service**: Interact with beneficiaries and providers via the helpline, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- **Creating and Formatting Correspondence**: Prepare, proofread, and print correspondence, including letters and other documents, to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- **Maintaining Timeliness**: Ensure that all correspondence is sent out in a timely manner, with correct components included and reviewed for grammatical and spacing errors.
- **Fostering Effective Relationships**: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, including beneficiaries, providers, and other stakeholders.
- **Identifying Areas for Improvement**: Participate in Review Team discussions to identify areas for potential improvement, as noted on case reviews and processes.
- **Utilizing Quality Control Tools**: Assess individual work and team processes using internal quality control tools to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- *Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with post-high school business courses a plus.
- **Medical Terminology**: Medical terminology is desired, but not required.
- **Excellent Verbal Communication Skills**: You'll need to be courteous, patient, and customer-oriented, with the ability to maintain composure under potentially stressful situations.
- **Good Grammar, Punctuation, and Written Communication Skills**: Strong written communication skills are essential, with the ability to proofread and edit documents for accuracy and clarity.
- **Customer Focus**: You'll need to be customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
- **General Knowledge of PC-Based Computer Systems**: Familiarity with PC-based computer systems is desirable, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed.
- **Multi-Tasking and Prioritization**: You'll need to be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments, with good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- *Experience**
We're looking for candidates with:
- **Two to Three Years of Clerical Experience**: Experience in a clerical role, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities.
- **Prior Work in a Healthcare Setting or Medical Terminology**: Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology is recommended, with previous data entry or other clerical experience a plus.
