Position Overview


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to serve as a key contributor to our Retail Media Trade (CMX) division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving data-informed decision-making processes across cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data Engineering, and Data Science.

This position reports directly to the Manager of Business Intelligence and offers a unique opportunity to work with vast datasets, extract meaningful insights, and present them in visually compelling formats that inform strategic business decisions at every level of the organization. Key Responsibilities

Data Extraction and Analysis



  • Identify, extract, and aggregate data from multiple internal and external sources to create comprehensive, actionable reports

  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines that ensure efficient and reliable data flow across the organization

  • Perform deep-dive analysis into complex datasets to answer critical business questions that directly impact strategic initiatives

  • Transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes

Data Visualization and Reporting



  • Design and develop intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders at all levels

  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all data presentations and analytical outputs

  • Create executive-level presentations that translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations

  • Maintain and enhance existing reporting infrastructure to meet evolving business needs

  • Implement best practices for data visualization to maximize clarity and impact

Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data Engineering, and Data Science to streamline data collection, storage, and analysis processes

  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship on data-related projects and initiatives across the organization

  • Act as a subject matter expert for retail media analytics and trade intelligence

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices adoption across teams

  • Support strategic planning initiatives with data-driven insights and forecasting

Data Quality Assurance and Integrity



  • Implement and execute rigorous quality assurance processes to maintain the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data used for insights and reporting

  • Proactively identify potential issues and anomalies in data sets and recommend corrective actions

  • Establish data validation protocols and monitoring systems to ensure ongoing data quality

  • Document data definitions, methodologies, and processes to maintain transparency and reproducibility

  • Continuously evaluate and improve data quality frameworks and governance practices

Strategic Impact



  • Support executive leadership with strategic insights that drive business transformation

  • Contribute to the development of KPIs and metrics that measure retail media performance

  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the retail media landscape

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide data-driven recommendations

Required Qualifications

Experience and Technical Skills



  • 4+ years of experience in SQL with expertise in writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, and optimizing query performance

  • 4+ years of experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms

  • 4+ years of experience conducting data analysis with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights

  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and PowerPoint for executive presentations

  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques

  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud-based data platforms

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent work experience

  • High School Diploma with 4+ years of relevant professional experience will also be considered

Preferred Qualifications



  • Understanding and hands-on experience working with digital media tech stacks, including ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, and DMPs

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud providers

  • Familiarity with Adobe Marketing Cloud and related advertising technologies

  • Knowledge of retail media networks and e-commerce analytics

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field is a plus
