About the Senior Analyst Role

As a Senior Analyst in Credit & Fraud Risk Finance, you will play a critical role in supporting our provision forecasting and results analysis for international card portfolios. This position requires close partnership with Chief Credit Officers across various regions, providing you with unparalleled exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

You will be responsible for developing and presenting key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior management, offering thought leadership in the enhancement of recoveries forecasting models. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on strategic business analytics that directly impact arenaflex's long-term growth targets.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Analyst at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

Provision Forecasting Support: Assist with forecasting and results analysis of our international card portfolios through close partnership with Chief Credit Officers in the regions

Senior Management Reporting: Develop and present key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior leadership, highlighting critical insights and recommendations

Thought Leadership: Provide idea leadership in the development and enhancement of recoveries forecasting models and strategic business analytics

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work on projects across the Risk Finance organization to help arenaflex meet its long-term growth targets

Financial Planning: Support planning, forecasting, and reporting activities, including building financial forecasts for Net Loss Provision to inform investment decisions

Performance Communication: Communicate monthly results and highlight key drivers of change to enable better long-term planning

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and implement innovative solutions

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

Analytical Experience: Hands-on experience working on financial analytics using large amounts of data

Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel modeling skills with a high degree of scalability

Database Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Hive/Yellow Brick is required; Python experience is preferred

Visualization Tools:

Industry Experience: Previous card or risk management experience and/or 1+ years of work experience is preferred

Presentation Skills: High degree of proficiency in PowerPoint for creating executive-level presentations

Compensation & Benefits

We recognize that our people are our most valuable asset, and we are committed to providing competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. The annual salary range for this position is $55,000.00 to $105,000.00, depending on location, experience, and other job-related factors. In addition to competitive base pay, you will be eligible for:
