SEM Manager

Will plan, execute,
and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms, focusing on
driving high-quality traffic, increasing lead generation, and maximizing ROI.
This individual will work closely with the digital marketing and analytics
teams to develop strategies that improve the company's online visibility, increase sales, and attract customers in the competitive insurance industry.
As a hands-on leader, you will oversee key client accounts across insurance and
other competitive lead-generation verticals, ensuring our omnichannel
strategies remain highly profitable.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or
    related field.
  • Highly analytical and critical thinker, with
    advanced proficiency in MS Excel for deep data mining, reporting, and data
    summarization.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other
    relevant SEM tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEM or paid
    search marketing, preferably within the insurance or financial services
    industry.
  • Proven track record managing high-budget lead
    generation and eCommerce campaigns in highly competitive verticals (e.g.,
    mortgages, education, medical, financial).

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to
    analyze data and draw insights to improve campaigns.


Job Responsibilities

• Manage search campaigns across platforms such as Google
& Bing Ads.

• Execute advanced optimization tactics and modern campaign
types, including tROAS

Optimization, Performance Max (PMax), AI Mode, and others.

• Manage SEM campaigns of $100k /week+, and ensure campaigns
are running within

budget while achieving optimal results.

• Act as the primary client-facing expert, presenting
high-level strategies, campaign

progress, and new business growth opportunities directly to
clients.

• Provide regular reports and insights on campaign
performance to senior leadership and

other stakeholders. Leverage advanced MS Excel techniques to
mine through complex

performance data and create clear, actionable summaries.

• Analyze performance data to track KPIs such as CTR, CPC,
and CPAs. Apply critical

thinking to diagnose performance shifts beyond surface-level
metrics.

• Implement projects to optimize KPIs.

• Optimize ad copy and messaging and improve Relevancy and
Ad Quality Scores.

• Bridge the gap between paid and organic growth by actively
applying SEO best practices

(our second most critical channel) and integrating paid
social media insights.

• Support and guide a team of SEM Specialists.

• Stay updated with the latest SEM trends, tools, and best
practices, especially those

relevant to the insurance industry
