Sales Support Representative

Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company (GTL) is currently seeking a Sales Support Representative to join their team. This role involves providing exceptional service and support to agents, onboarding new agents, and assisting with various insurance processes, while also preparing for a future in sales.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing exceptional service and support (via phone, chat, and email)
• Help onboard new agents by processing contracting paperwork
• Provide ongoing day-to-day assistance to agents using various systems, products and procedures
• Meet daily performance standards
• May be required to perform other related duties as assigned

Skills

• 1 year of experience in customer service, insurance, agency or brokerage
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Has an interest in pursuing a career in sales, business development, or account management
• College degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
• Experience in a call center environment
• Previous sales experience
• Understanding customer objections and how to resolve customer issues
• Ability to establish strong relationships with customers
• Coordinating cross-functional work with other departments (i.e. Marketing, Commissions, or New Business departments)
