Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP is seeking a Professional Development Assistant Coordinator to join their dynamic team. The role involves supporting the training and development of attorneys, coordinating logistics for training programs, and maintaining compliance training databases.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the logistics for assigned Corporate and Transactional practice groups trainings, including drafting and updating invites, drafting reminder emails, preparing hard-copy/electronic materials, reserving conference rooms, organizing catering requests, setting up conference rooms, greeting presenters and answering questions
- Draft continuing legal education (CLE) compliance documents, including sign-in sheets, affirmation forms and timed agendas
- Assist with logistics for the Corporate/Transactional department conferences, including planning, program logistics and recordkeeping
- Attend and monitor live training programs and remote training programs
- Maintain and update the firm’s compliance training database by entering CLE credit information for attorneys in a timely manner
- Maintain and update the Professional Development (PD) department calendar, practice group training calendars, attendance trackers and resource centers
- Assist in responding to attorney questions about training and development resources
- Assist with logistics and administrative tasks related to ad hoc projects and events for the PD department
- Serve as general back-up support for the PD department for department administration, programs and events

- Bachelor's degree required
- 1+ years of administrative experience in a law firm or a professional services firm a plus
- Experience in training and development, legal personnel, recruitment, human resources or other talent management roles a plus
- Experience with iManage, intranet systems and CE Manager a plus
