The Analyst, Capital Markets Sales Support Middle Office role is an entry-level position focused on supporting the front office in trade lifecycle management and operational controls within Derivative Operations.
Responsibilities
- Review trade booking to ensure transactions are captured accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform end-of-day validation and completeness checks under supervision, escalating discrepancies as needed
- Assist with monitoring third-party platforms (e.g., MarkitWire, ICE) and internal systems for trade status and confirmations
- Support the processing of trade allocations, affirmations, and lifecycle events
- Assist in identifying trade breaks and support cancel and correct activity with appropriate escalation
- Provide support to senior team members on trade, settlement, and client-related inquiries
- Assist with client onboarding activities, including coordination with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Credit, Tax, and KYC
- Support investigations into sales credit discrepancies and assist with data gathering and reporting
- Assist in testing activities related to system enhancements and process improvements
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining daily procedures and documentation
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and control frameworks
- Participate in process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives as part of professional development
Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in a financial services, operations, or support role
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated interest in Capital Markets, derivatives, or financial products
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to learn complex systems, workflows, and regulatory requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
