Sales Associate, Mainstream Food Channel

    Job Description:
  • Partner with the VP, peers, brokers, and distributor network to develop, implement, and drive our sales strategy targeting the Mainstream food channel.
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and team sales goals, maximizing profitability.
  • Manage day-to-day sales activities, developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and implementing sales strategies.
  • Develop and execute distribution targets and promotion plans.
  • Build strong and credible relationships with existing customers and channels.
  • Assist the VP of Sales and Marketing in producing monthly reports and sales forecasts.
  • Facilitate cross-department collaborations with R&D, Production, Quality, and other departments.
  • Participate in nationwide food shows to approach business opportunities with prospects.
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience with proven track record of leadership in a sales organization/business unit in the food industry
  • Working knowledge of sales cycles according to customer types, i.e., retailers, wholesalers, food services, etc.
  • Prior experience with mainstream market preferred
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned sales territory domestically and/or internationally as needed
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Proficient in Google Apps, MS Office Suite, etc.
