Your work will be instrumental in delivering the exceptional performance and battery life that define arenaflex products.
About Our Team
You will become an integral part of our world-class silicon configuration group, responsible for designing state-of-the-art Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). This is a unique opportunity to work on advanced custom digital megacells, including SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, machine learning accelerators, and data path components that form the backbone of our premium performance and low-power System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions.
Our team collaborates across disciplines, bringing together experts in circuit design, physical layout, verification, and system architecture. You'll have the chance to work alongside some of the most talented engineers in the semiconductor industry, learning from their expertise while contributing your own innovative ideas to projects that will be shipped in millions of devices globally.
Key Responsibilities
As a Custom Circuits Design Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our SoC design efforts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing custom circuits to enhance chip power efficiency and overall performance, focusing on cutting-edge low-power architectures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including power design, physical design (PD), and system engineers to define specifications and requirements for new circuit implementations
- Performing comprehensive design, analysis, modeling, and simulation at the circuit level, including schematic capture, spice simulation, and corner verification across Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) variations
- Conducting statistical design analysis and functional verification to ensure robustness and reliability of custom circuit implementations
- Working closely with the layout team to complete designs and oversee layout quality, ensuring optimal placement and routing for performance and manufacturability
- Developing and driving circuit design methodologies to achieve the highest quality design metrics and meet aggressive performance targets
- Participating in silicon bring-up, debug, and characterization activities, analyzing test data and using scripting to efficiently process automated test equipment (ATE) data
- Creating and maintaining design documentation and specifications for future reference and knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications
We're seeking candidates who bring hands-on experience designing custom circuits in advanced technology nodes. The ideal candidate will have:
