  • *Job Summary**

As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by providing expert advice, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. You'll work closely with customers to understand their needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions that meet their expectations. You'll also be responsible for operating and maintaining a wide variety of equipment, managing the production queue and output, and completing assigned tasks based on priority.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expert advice, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience
  • Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping equipment
  • Manage the production queue and output to ensure timely completion of customer orders
  • Complete assigned tasks based on priority, including taking complex customer orders, assembling parcels, and preparing goods for shipping
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
  • Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage
  • Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • Complete required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits
  • Follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures as well as adhering to legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies and procedures
  • *Essential Qualifications and Requirements**
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 6+ months of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of printing, signs & graphics, and shipping solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
